Description:
This short, family-friendly hike leads to Szentbékkálla’s most famous natural attraction. The massive basalt and stone blocks of the Káli Stone Sea create a unique, almost lunar landscape. During the hike, be sure to visit the iconic “Rocking Stone” boulder. The side of Fülöp Hill offers a beautiful view of the Káli Basin, and on clear days, you can even see Lake Balaton.

Description:
This hike showcases the atmosphere of the Káli Basin: rolling hills, vineyards, small villages, and panoramic views alternate along the way. On the path leading to Mindszentkálla, we pass by traditional wine press houses and vineyards. The return route takes us through the Kőtenger, ensuring you don’t miss out on this natural wonder.

3. Long Hike in the Káli Basin – Salföld and the Lookout Hills of the Balaton Uplands

Napraforgó Tourist Hostel → Kékkút → Salföld → Salföldi Major → mountain panoramic trail → back to Szentbékkállá
Description:
This longer hike leads to the southern part of the Káli Basin. Heading toward Kékkút, we walk along gentle hills and forest trails. Near Salföld, you can visit Salföldi Major, one of the visitor centers of the Balaton Uplands National Park. Along the way, there are several spots offering views of Lake Balaton and the surrounding hills.
